Gurli Maya Klausen
Denmark. Born 1955.
Gurli Maya has studied at Aarhus Art Academy, by artists in Denmark and Italy and has an education in paper making. But the most important education is learning by doing. Her key thought is: Let it go! Which she does through feelings, fantasy and colours, inspired by experiences and travels inside her mind and in the real world. Myths and symbols from ancient cultures together with a lot of experiments are an essential part of her work. Gurli Maya has exhibited in Europe.
